Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities awarded the project “Construction of 4 Multistorey Car Parking in Muharraq”.
The project has been awarded to Kuwait based construction company, Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al-Kharafi & Sons.
The value of signed contract is BHD 6,903,750.
Earlier, during November 2018, a total of four bidders has submitted the proposals for the project. Upon technical and commercial evalution the project has been awarded to the contractor.
Project scope of work consists of concrete four (4) multi-storey parking in muharraq, which provided 886 parking spot for both visitors and residents.
The parking garages offer on each level a specific spatial experience. A drive over hills and mounds creates places, which will be easily recognizable.
The parking resembles a stacking of landscapes, seen from above and from underneath. In this radically redefined parking, the slabs and the ramps become one continuous element. Finishes are mostly fair-faced concrete.
