ADNOC awards an order of US$125 million for the civil works on the Ghasha development

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) awarded an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the onshore early civil works on the Ghasha development.

The project has been awarded to UAE’s oil & Gas firm, Al Jaber Energy Services.

The value of signed contract is $125 million.

The scope of work for this EPC Package 5 contract includes the construction of the main access road and other civil works required in preparation for the construction of the Manayif Gas Processing Plant, near Ruwais in Abu Dhabi.

The Manayif plant will receive the gas from the Ghasha Offshore Processing Plant, located off Abu Dhabi’s north-west coast.

The Ghasha Ultra-sour Gas Project, has a validity of 40 years and comprises three gas and condensate fields: Hail, Ghasha and Dalma. The region also holds the oil, gas and condensate fields Nasr, SARB and Mubarraz.

Earlier, ADNOC awarded a contract of $1.65 billion for the construction of offshore facilities related to Dalma Gas Development Project. (read more)
