China State Company secures an order of $107 million for Residential Compound Project in UAE
China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCME) announced in a statement that, it has been awarded 380 Villas Residential Compound Project.
The value of signed contract is AED 400 million. The project is located in Al Seyouh 16, Sharjah which is adjacent to the newly completed 323 National Housing project. (read more)

China State Company secures an order of $100 million for Kuwait’s Infrastructure Work Project
China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCME) announced in a statement that, it has been awarded a project for “Infrastructure Work” related to Al- Shaddadiah Industrial Zone Project in Kuwait.
The project has been awarded by the main contractor, Mushrif Trading & Contracting Co (MTCC). The value of signed contract is Kuwait Dinars 31 million.(read more)

Oman awarded a contract to build hospitals under PPP
UK based The International Hospitals Group (IHG) announced in a statement that, it has won a contract to design and build major hospitals in Oman.
The project locations will be in Salalah, Al Suwaiq and Khasab. The hospitals will be build under a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) arrangement with Oman’s Ministry of Health. (read more)

Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Works Affairs) awarded contract to build a Health Centre at Madinat Khalifa.
The project has been awarded to Bahrain based construction company, Aradous Contracting & Maintenance (Adrous). The value of signed contract is BHD 5,646,666 (1 BHD = 2.65957 USD).(read more)

Grupo Maessa secures a contract of $ 11.9 million for Rafeah-2 115/13.8kV Substation
Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded the contract for “Reinforcement of Rafeah-2 115/13.8 kV Substation”.
The project has been awarded to Grupo Maessa Saudi Arabia Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Spain based construction company, Grupo Maessa. The value if signed contract is SAR 44,800,000 (1$=3.75 SAR). (read more)

Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Works Affairs) signed a contract to construct exhibition and Convention centre in Sakhir, Bahrain.

Dubai’s Samana Developers awarded $27 million Samana Hills project to contractor
Dubai based real estate developer, Samana Developers awarded the project for construction of Samana Hills, located in Arjan, close to Dubai Miracle Garden.

Sterling & Wilson secures 25MW Qabas Solar PV Project in Oman
India’s engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) service provider, Sterling and Wilson awarded a contract to build 25MW Qabas solar PV plant in Oman. The project has been awarded by Shell Oman.
Once the project constructed, it will be the oman’s first commercial-scale solar PV plant in Sohar Port and Freezone. (read more)

UAE’s Etihad Rail has awarded the project to construct freight facilities for its railway network stage 2.
