Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announces the bid results for the project “Rebuilding Of Ahmadi Township Construction Of Houses and Associated Facilities (Phase 2-2)”
The project locations are in Ahmadi City, Kuwait.
A total of thirteen bidders has submitted the proposals. Kuwait based construction Company, El-Eman Construction Establishment has submitted the lowest bid.
El-Eman Construction Establishment submitted the price of KWD 63,750,000 (1 KWD = 3.28344 USD).
Rebuilding of Ahmadi Township, Kuwait:
Earlier, during January 2019, KOC invited a total of 31 companies to submit their proposals.
As part of the projects, there will be two sites will be constructed namely Site A, Site B.
Site A is located in South Ahmadi, Block (4) along the Mina Ahmadi Road and Site B South Ahmadi, Block (1) and partly in Block (6) along Road No. 201.
Site A:
Site A is composed of the following main components:
- House A; 107 Nos which includes 1 No. mock-up house
- Central Utility Plant „U1‟ for Sites A & B.
- Area Substation X1 for Sites A & B.
- Local Substation „SS‟ 3 Nos.
- Public Toilet: 1 Nos.
- External Works
- Waste Management Pipework.
The mock-up house shall be constructed within 120 calendar days from the date of commencement, complete including all structural, architectural, MEP, testing and commissioning prior to start of construction of remaining houses for both Sites A and B. The mock-up house once approved shall be considered one of the 107 houses to be constructed on Site A.
Site B:
Site B is composed of the following main components:
- House A: 189 Nos.
- Local Substation 6 Nos.
- Mosque
- Retail 1: 2 Nos.
- Public Toilet: 1 Nos.
- External Works
- Waste Management Pipework
- Command and Control Centre (Located in Middle of Ahmadi Township)
Project scope of work also includes the following:
- 2 Nos. Pumps in Existing Ahmadi Pump House and Supervisory
- Pump House
- External Works / Infrastructure
- Building Systems
- Utility Connections
The scope of Works shall include the provision of labour, Constructional Plant, Temporary Works, consumables, project management, planning and control, procurement of materials, spares and equipment, construction, installation, pre-commissioning; commissioning, testing and, performance testing, rectification of defects of the Works, training of Company‟s personnel , together with all necessary ancillary and inherent work and services to execute and complete the Project Works.
