Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW), Kuwait issued a tender for the Supply and Installation of 132/11KV Substation to feed Shaikh Salem Elali Al Salim Al Sabah (Previously KAZMA B)”.
KAZMA B 132/11kV Substation:
Project involves the construction of a new indoor 132/11 kV Gas Insulated Substation, arranged in single bus single breaker configuration.
Substation consist of following major equipment:
- 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
- 11kV Switchgear
- 30MVA, 132/11kV power transformers
- Neutral Earthing Resistors
- 250kVA, 11kV/433V Station Service Transformers
- MV Power Cables and Terminations
- AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply
- Control/Protection System
- Substation Monitoring System
- Communication System
- Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System
- Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation and cable works in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor need to complete the project activities with in 24 months from the date of Contract award.
MEW, Kuwait sets the tender submission date as 15 March 2020. Tender Fee is 1000KD.
