Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announced bid results for the Construction of 110kV Transmission line for interconnection of Jeddah Solar PV Substation with the network.
The location of the project is in Jeddah, Western region of Saudi Arabia.
A total of ten bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based Constrcution Company, Mohammed Al Ojaimi Establishment (Al Ojaimi) has submitted the lowest bid.
Al Ojaimi has submitted the price of SAR 32,961,567.
Jeddah Solar PV OHTL:
This project involves the design and construction of two (2) 110kV OHTL to connect the Jeddah Solar PV Substation. The substation portion along with Solar PV Plant will be constructed by REPDO through developers.
Approximate route length of each OHTL is 14 km.
Once the project completed, Jeddah Solar PV Substation will be connected to the network through MODON Substation.
The project involves using of 2-402 Sq.mm ACSR/AW CONDOR conductor per phase and two (2) OPGW along the length of the new line.
Project scope of work also involves installation of Four (4) circuit of 110kV, 2000 Sq.mm, Cu, XLPE cables in flat formation from Gantries/terminal compound structures to the 110KV GIS sealing end of MODON BSP.
Approximate route length of total underground cable route is 1.55km.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new OHTL work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor need to complete the project activities within 23 months from the date of contract award.
