Kuwait issued bulk order tenders for Distribution Transformers and Ring Main Unit Substations

Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW), Kuwait issued following new tenders

• Manufacture and Supply of Distribution Transformers 11/0.433kV
• Manufacturing, Supply and Installation of Ring Main 11/0.433kV Distribution Sub-Stations

Distribution Transformers 11/0.433kV:

Project scope of involves Manufacturer and Supply of Distribution Transformers of below ratings:

• Dry Type Cast resin 1000kVA, 11/0.433kV Distribution Transformers – 100 numbers
• Dry Type Cast resin 1250kVA, 11/0.433kV Distribution Transformers – 200 numbers
• Dry Type Cast resin 1600kVA, 11/0.433kV Distribution Transformers – 300 numbers

The Contract duration is 16 months from the date of signing of contract.

MEW sets the tender fee as KD 3500 and bid submission date as 16 February 2020.

Ring Main 11/0.433kV Distribution Sub-Stations:

Project scope of involves Manufacturing, Supply and Installation of Ring Main 11/0.433kV Distribution Sub-Stations of below rating:

• Four transformers sub-stations of total Quantity 200 numbers. Major equipment involves 11kV Switchgear, 1250kVA Transformers, MV & LV Cables and Other auxiliaries
• Two transformers sub-stations of total Quantity 100 numbers. Major equipment involves 11kV Switchgear, 1250kVA Transformers, MV & LV Cables and Other auxiliaries

The Contract duration is 36 months starting from the date of signing the contract.

MEW sets the tender fee as KD 3500 and bid submission date as 11 February 2020.
