The Renewable Energy Project Development Office (REPDO) of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources (MEIM) has extended the bid submission date for Category “A’ Solar PV projects.
At present the bid submission date is 20-January-2020. The new bid submission date will be 03-February-2020.
REPDO Category A’ projects consist of two projects, namely Madinah Solar PV IPP and Rafah Solar PV IPP.
- Madinah Solar PV IPP with a capacity of 50 MW to be located in the Al Madinah Province, approximately 26 km from Madinah city
- Rafha Solar PV IPP with a capacity of 20 MW to be located in the Northern Borders province, approximately 16 km away from Rafha city
REPDO is being advised by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (DIFC Branch) – Lead and Financial Adviser, DLA Piper Middle East LLP – Legal Adviser and Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG – Technical Adviser for this project.
‘Category A’ projects require consortium members to partner with at least one local managing member.
Category B, Projects bid submission date is 06-Jan-2020.
