Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for “Construction of New Al Aseelh 380kV Substation ”.
The Project location is in Jazan, Southern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of eight bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction Company, National Contracting Company (NCC) has submitted the lowest bid.
NCC submitted the price of SAR 228 million.
Project Description:
Project involves the construction of a new indoor 380/132/13.8 kV Gas Insulated Substation, named as Al Aseelh (ASL) 380kV Substation.
The BSP shall be equipped with IEC 61850 standards based technically and economically optimized Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the SEC’s Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA and Communication.
The Substation consist of following major equipment:
- 380kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
- 132kV GIS
- 13.8kV Switchgear
- 502MVA, 380/132/13.8kV power transformers
- 120MVAr, 380kV Reactors
- 67MVA, 132/13.8kV power transformers
- 2.5MVA, 13.8kV/400V-230V Station Service Transformers
- HV/MV Power Cables and Terminations
- AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply
- Surge Arresters
- Control/Protection System
- Substation Automation System (SAS)
- Communication System
- Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System
- Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works
- Security System
Project Summary:
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 25 months from Contract Signing Date.
