Bahrain’s Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) invites the Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Participation of 132kV Substation Civil Works Tenders / Measure Term Contract (MTC).
As per the notification, EWA stated that, due to natural growth of electricity demand in the Kingdom of Bahrain, The Electricity & Water Authority has decided to construct additional capacity of their Electricity Transmission Network to service the demand.
This will be achieved through major project known as “MTC for 132 kV Substation Civil Works under Electricity Transmission Development”.
As per the notifications, bid bond/ bank guarantee is not applicable. EWA sets the tender fee to purchase the PQ documents as BD 50.
The present submission date of duly filled PQ documents is by 08-January-2020.
Recently, EWA awarded various substations to successful bidder under Phase 2 of 220 kV & 66 kV Transmission Development (2012-2016).(read more)
