Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for “Construction of New 132kV Double Circuit Transmission line between Substation 8919 and 8922”.
The project location is in Hail, central Region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of thirteen bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction Company, Al Shariff & KEC Company Limited has submitted the lowest bid.
Al Sheriff & KEC has submitted the price of SAR 41,750,000 (1$=3.75 SAR)
Project Description:
Project scope of work includes, Design and construction of 132kV double circuit, three phase, single conductor per phase, vertical configuration overhead transmission line on lattice steel structures.
The line conductor will be 1x 402 Sq.mm ACSR/AW CONDOR conductor.
The connecting substations will be 8919 and 8922 in Hail region.
The entire overhead transmission line shall be shielded with two (2), 96 Fibers optical overhead ground wire (OPGW).
Approximate route length of overhead transmission line is 70km.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 26 months from Contract Signing Date.
Earlier, SEC announces the bid results for the reinforcement of substations 8919 and 8922. Saudi based Construction Company, Al Nowaiser for Trading and Contracting submitted the lowest bid.(read more)
