UAE’s Federal Electricity & Water Authority (FEWA) issued two tenders for the construction of 132kV Substations in North and Central Areas.
Following are the two tenders issued by FEWA:
- 132/33/11kV ALREG M/M-Exten DHAID M/N
- 132/33/11kV SHARISHA M/N
As per the notification, Bidders who have been already Pre-qualified and classified by FEWA as 132 kV Substation contractor are only eligible to participate in this tender, However Bidders who are complying with following conditions can participate in the tender provided that they apply for Pre-qualification process with FEWA.
Bidder as Contractor should have completed Minimum Three (3) similar 132 kV substation projects for Power utilities/Authorities in UAE/GCC on a Turnkey basis for the past Ten(10) years out of which two (2) similar projects should have been completed in the UAE.
However, Bidder having completed only one (1) similar 132 kV substation in UAE Power utilities/Authorities plus two (2) in GCC Power utilities/Authorities may also be considered at the sole discretion of FEWA.
The offers shall be valid for 180 days from the date of submission.
FEWA sets the tender fee as AED 6000. At present, bid submission date is 28 November 2019.
