Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing (MOH) announced the bid results for the Installation of 110kV Underground cable for 110/13.8 kV Rabigh Housing (RBG-H) substation”
The project location is in Rabigh, Western Region of Saudi Arabia.
A total of fifteen (15) bidders has submitted the proposal. Saudi based Construction Company, Delta Company Limited has submitted the lowest bid.
Delta Submitted the price of SAR 57,960,000 (1$=3.75 SAR)
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Two (2) New 110kV underground cable circuits in flat formation & Two NFOC, using 1x1200mm2 Cu. XLPE Cable per phase from 110/13.8KV Rabigh City-2 to 110/13.8KV Rabigh Housing (RBG-H) Substation.
The length of each circuit shall be approximately 6.7 km.
Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Two (2) New 110kV underground cable circuits in flat formation, using 1x1200mm2 Cu. XLPE Cable per phase from existing line bays at110/13.8KV Rabigh City-2 to existing Gantry of (Rabigh City2 – Rabigh PP), to establish double bundling UGC circuit’s portion.
The length of each circuit shall be approximately 8.5 km.
The Project has been floated by Ministry of Housing and supervised & Implemented by Saudi Electricity Company’s standards and specifications.
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new cable work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor needs to achieve the final acceptance of the works by 18 months from Contract Signing Date.
