Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) announces the bid results for “Construction of 380kV/230kV Hawiyah Unaizah Gas Reservoir Storage (HUGRS) Substation”
The project location is in Hawiyah area, eastern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of twelve bidders has submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction company, Alfanar Construction has submitted the lowest bid.
Alfanar has submitted the price of SAR 219,591,000 (1$=3.75 SAR)
Project Description:
This project will feed the power to proposed Hawiyah Unayzah Gas Reservoir Storage (HUGRS) project for Saudi Aramco. The Project Scope of Work involves two Portions:
Portion 1:
Construction of Hawiyah Unaizah Gas Reservoir Storage (HUGRS) 380/230kV BSP consist of following major equipment:
- 380kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
- 230kV GIS
- 420kV Hybrid GIS
- 13.8kV Switchgear
- 752.5MVA, 380/230/13.8kV power transformers
- 2MVA, 13.8kV/400V-230V Station Service Transformers
- 13.8kV Grounding Transformers
- 380kV, 80MVAr, Bus shunt Reactors
- HV/MV Power Cables and Terminations,
- AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply,
- Surge Arresters,
- Control/Protection System,
- Substation Automation System (SAS)
- Communication System
- Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System
- Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works
- Catering Services
Portion 2:
The expansion of Al-Uqair 380kV BSP shall consist of the following major equipment
- Expansion of existing 380kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
- 420kV Hybrid GIS
- 80MVAr Shunt Reactors
- HV/MV Power Cables and Terminations
- AC/DC Auxiliary Power Supply
- Control/Protection System,
- Substation Automation System (SAS)
- Communication System
- Fire Detection/Alarm and Safety and Fire Protection System
- Civil/Structural works and Mechanical works
The Contractor shall perform on Lump sum turnkey basis, the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of new substation work in a satisfactorily working and operating condition.
Contractor need achieve Final Acceptance of the works by 24 months from Contract Signing Date.
