Ministry of Housing announces the bid results for the project” Khamis Mushayat Housing 132/13.8kV Substation”. The location of project is in Khamis Mushhayat, Southern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of thirteen (13) bidders has been submitted the proposals. Saudi based Al Sherif Group for Contracting Company has submitted the lowest bid.
Al Sherif Group quoted the price of SAR 66.5 million (1$=3.75 SAR)
Project Description:
Ministry of Housing issued a tender to meet their load in Khamis Mushayat region. This Project will be interconnecting with Saudi Electricity Company’s grid. The substation’s main scope of work 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 50/67MVA, 132/13.8kV Power Transformers, 13.8kV Switchgear, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System (SAS), Telecommunication System, Electro-Mechanical and Civil works.
Project completion period is 27 months. The project execution will be supervised and constructed in accordance with Saudi Electricity Company standards and specifications.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.
