Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) Abdulrahman Al Fadley signed four contracts to implement water projects worth SAR347.5 million.
The projects will be implemented in four regions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the ministry said in a statement.
The projects which are signed by ministry include:
- Phase I of a sewage treatment plant worth SAR244.7 million in Al Ahsa area, eastern region.
- A wastewater reuse network worth SAR 69.7 million in Buraydah and Al Qassim area, central region.
- Phase II of Khamis Mushait water supply network,valued at A SAR 18.46 million,in Asir area, South region.
- Phase I of a drinking water networks and tanks project at a total cost of SAR14.58 million for the villages of Duba, Tabuk area in western region.
