Saudi Electricity Company announces the bid results for the project “ Construction of 380kV & 132kV Overhead Transmission line interconnection of Layla 9049 BSP”
The interconnection of the project is between Layla & Al Kharj area, central region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of twelve (12) bidders has been submitted the proposals. Saudi based Contracting Company, National Contracting Company (NCC), has submitted the lowest bid.
NCC Submitted the lowest price of SAR 327 million (1$=3.75SAR)
Project Description:
Saudi Electricity Company intends to interconnect its new 380kV Substation, 9049 with the national grid via 380kV and 132kV overhead transmission line.
Scope of work includes design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 380kV Transmission line of approximate route length 300km between Layla and Al Kharj Region.
Scope of work also includes design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 132kV Transmission line of approximate route length 34km along with associated 132kV underground cables.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.
Contractor need to complete the project within 27 months.
