Canadian firm, SNC Lavalin announced that, it has secured a contract to provide engineering and project management services in UAE.
The project has been awarded by Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA).
Project Scope of work includes, integrated engineering services covering all multi-disciplinary aspects related to power plant, energy distribution, water desalination, aluminum smelting, casting and carbon plants of EGA’s Al Taweelah and Jebel Ali smelter complexes.
Project Scope also includes delivering multi-disciplinary engineering services pertaining to Al Taweelah alumina refinery.
In addition, SNC Lavalin will provide project management services such as construction management, cost control and planning, contract engineering and project portfolio management
The project duration is three years.
