Saudi Electricity Company announces the bid results for the project ”Construction of New Mansouriyah 110/13.8kV Substation”.
The location of the project is in Makkah area, western region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of nine (9) bidders has been submitted the proposals. Saudi based Al-Ojaimi Contracting Company has submitted the lowest bid.
Al-Ojaimi quoted the price of SAR 57.9 million (1$=3.75 SAR)
Project Description:
Saudi Electricity Company issued a tender to meet the load demand in Makkah region.
The substation’s main scope of work includes 110kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 50/67 MVA, 110/13.8kV Power Transformers, 13.8kV Switchgear, 7 MVar Capacitor Banks, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System (SAS), Telecommunication System, Electro-Mechanical and Civil works.
Project completion period is 25 months.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.
