On 10-June-2019, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has issued a tender to appoint a consultant for its first Wind Power Project.
The Scope of work includes a feasibility study, technical requirements to construct Wind Project.
The project location is in Hatta area, which is 134 km east of Dubai City. It is located relatively high in the Hajar Mountains.
As per the tender notification, all the proposals should be valid for 120 days. Participating bidders need to submit a bid security for an amount 5% of the total tender price and valid for 150 days.
Interested bidders can submit their proposal by 23-July-2019.
Dubai is targeting of 42,000 MW of clean and renewable energy by 2050 as part of Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 (DCES 2050).
