Saudi Arabia’s Water & Electricity Company (WEC) announces that, it has received expression of interest (EOI) for Jubail (Phase- 3) Independent Water Project (IWP).
Jubail (Phase -3) IWP will have a total capacity of 1,170,000 m3/day net of potable water.
However, 600,000 m3/day potable water capacity for Jubail-3 (A) and 570,000 m3/day potable water capacity for Jubail-3 (B) to be tendered separately.
The developer scope of work includes, development, financing, procurement, implementation, operation and maintenance of the two desalination plants of 600,000 m3/day potable water capacity for Jubail-3 (A) and 570,000 m3/day potable water capacity for Jubail-3 (B), together with associated infrastructure and facilities, in a separate tendering process.
A total of 55 companies has submitted their EOI. Among these companies, there are 19 companies are from Saudi Arabia.
