Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) issued new tender for “Construction of Layla (9049) 380/132kV BSP and Installation of One (1) 380kV, 60MVAR Line Reactor at 9028 BSP”.
Once the project completed, it will feed the power to Layla area to meet the rapidly growing power supply demand.
The location of the project is in central region, around 300km from Capital City, Riyadh.
Scope of Work includes design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 380kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 132kV GIS, 380kV Hybrid GIS, Transformers (502.5 MVA, 380/132/13.8kV), Reactors (380kV, 120MVAr and 132kV, 40MVAr), complete protection, metering, control, communication and SCADA equipment, Civil and Electro-Mechanical Works. The new Substation shall be equipped with Substation Automation System (SAS)
The monitoring Control and Protection system shall be IEC 61850 Standard based on Substation Automation System.
The project should also include addition/ modification of protection, control, communication and SCADA system at associated existing remote end substation 9067 & 9028.
Present, bid Submission date is on 15-July-2019. Project completion period is 27 months.
