Kuwait’s Public Authority for Housing Welfare, signed a contract for the supply of 400kV Power Cables and to build power grid.
The project has been awarded to South Korea’s Cable manufacturer LS Cable & System Ltd. (LS C&S).
The value of the contract is $95 million. The project is expected to complete by end January 2021.
The project location is in Al-Mutlaa, a new town located 40 kilometers northwest of Kuwait City and and 15km from Al Jahra.
Other projects from Public Authority for Housing Welfare, whicha are in under progress are West Abdullah Mubarak, South Abdullah Al-Mubarak, East of Taima, Low cost housing and Jabel Al Ahmed.
