Saudi Electricity Company announces the bid results for the “Installation of Two 380kv Line Reactors and 380kV Hybrid GIS at Madinah East 380KV BSP”. The location of project is in Madinah, western region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A total of four (4) bidders has been submitted the proposals. Saudi based Alfanar Construction Company has submitted the lowest bid.
Alfanar Construction Company quoted the price SAR 33.6 million (1$=3.75 SAR)
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes installation of two 380kV, 120MVAR Line Reactors and 380kV Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear at Madinah East 380kV BSP. It includes protection, control, communication and SAS/SCADA systems. The BSP shall be equipped with IEC 61850 standards based technically and economically optimized Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the Power Control Center (PCC) through SCADA and Communication.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the 380kV BSP and associated facilities.
Project completion period is 15 months.
