Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) signed the contract for “Construction of As Sarrar‐2 115/33/13.8kV Substation”.
The project has been awarded to Saudi based company, Al Toukhi Company for Industry, Trading & Contracting.
The value the contract is SAR 91.8 million. The project location is in As Sarrar area, eastern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, during April 2018, SEC received the proposal from various contractors.
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes 115kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 80/100 MVA, 115/33kV Power Transformers, 10MVAr Capacitor Banks, 25/30MVA, 33/13.8kV Power Transformers, 13.8kV Switchgear, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System (SAS), Electro-Mechanical Works and Civil works.
Project Scope of work also includes dismantling of existing 115/13.8kV Substation.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the project.
Project Completion period is 27 months.
