Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) signed the contract for “Replacement of Existing Outdoor Ain Dar Sub-30 with new GIS Substation”.
The project has been awarded to Saudi based company, Abahsain Consolidated Co. Ltd (Energy & Power).
The value the contract is SAR 105.8 million. The project location is in Aindar area, eastern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, during January 2019, SEC received the proposals from various contractros.
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes 115kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), 100MVA Power Transformers, 33kV Switchgear, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System (SAS) and associated works. Project also includes installation of 115kV overhead transmission line works.
The contractor shall perform the project on lumpsum turnkey basis, includes the design, engineering, material procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, and all associated work and services until final handing over of the 115kV Substation and associated facilities.
Project Completion period is 27 months.
