Japan’s Marubeni has chosen the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor for Shuqaiq-3 IWP’s 380kV Substation in Saudi Arabia
Marubeni has chosen (please subscribe to view) construction company to execute 380kV Substation on lump sum turnkey basis
Earlier, During January 2019 Consortium of Marubeni Corporation, Acciona Agua S.A., Abdul Latif Jameel Commercial Development Company and Rawafid Alhadarah Holding Co., signed the Shuqaiq-3 Independent Water Project (IWP). Shuqaiq 3 desalination plant will have the capacity of 450,000 m3/day and the scope of work includes development, design, financing, construction, commissioning and transfer of the associated Electrical Special Facilities.
Project Scope of work includes construction a new indoor 380/132kV Gas Insulated Substation, named as Pump Station-Shuqaiq 380/132kV BSP and Construction of 380kV Double Circuit overhead transmission line. It also includes protection, control, communication and Substation Automation System (SAS)/SCADA systems.
