Saudi Electricity company (SEC) announces the bid results for “Power Supply to Khafji Joint Operation in Khafji Area for 115/13.8kV Substation”. The location of substation is located in Khafji area, eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
A total of twenty (20) companies has submitted the proposal. Saudi based (please subscribe to view) construction company has quoted the lowest price of SAR 45.98 million.
Project scope of work includes 13.8kV Switchgear, 7MVAr Capacitor bank, Protection & Control System, Substation Automation System, Telecommunication System and other auxiliaries.
Project scope of work also includes installation of 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and 50/67 MVA, 132/13.8kV Power Transformers. However, material will be provided by SEC.
The project will be constructed as per Saudi Electricity Company specifications and funded by Khafji Joint Operations.
Total project duration is 27 months
