Saudi Arabia issued RFQ for Taif ISTP to qualified Consortia

Saudi Arabia’s Water & Electricity Company (WEC) announces the qualified Consortia to bid for the Taif Independent Sewage Treatment Plant(ISTP).

Also, WEC issued the Request for Qualification (RFQ) to the qualified Consortia. The ultimate treatment capacity of the project is up to 270,000 m3/day. The ISTP will be located near the city of Taif, in the Makkah Province of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Following is the list of companies that are shortlisted:

1. Acciona Agua, S.A.
2. China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd.
3. Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios, S.A., International Water Distribution Company (TAWZEA)
4. FCC Aqualia, Alkhorayef Group
5. Marubeni Corporation
6. Metito Utilities Limited, Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (Marafiq), Mowah
7. Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Miahona Company
8. Orascom Construction
9. Samsung Engineering Company Limited
10. SUEZ Group
