Spanish firm, secured an order of $350 millions for UAE’s Power Plant

Spanish firm, (Please Subscribe to view company name) was awarded, as part of a consortium with General Electric, the execution of a new combined cycle power plant for Sumitomo & GE EFS in Hamriyah, in the United Arab Emirates.
The scope value for (Please Subscribe to view company name) will be above 350 million dollars. The contract was signed on the last days of 2018. A Limited Notice to Proceed has been already received and the final Notice to Proceed is expected within first half of 2019.
The power plant will consist of three General Electric 9HA.01 gas turbines with their corresponding heat recovery generators and steam turbines, with a total power output of more than 1,800 MW. The scope also includes all necessary balance of plant to connect the facility to the gas & electricity grids. It will be fueled by natural gas meeting the latest emission standards and will provide its electricity to the Emirate of Sharjah.
The project will be executed in 53 months.
