Ministry of Housing announced the bid results for 380kV Overhead transmission line project for Khamis Mushayat and Shuqaiq in Southern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan based National Power Construction Corporation (NPCC) has submitted the lowest bid.
A total of seven (7) companies has submitted the proposal.
National Power Construction Corporation (NPCC) has quoted the price of SAR 123.8 million (1$=3.75 SAR).
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes Design and construct two (2) 380kV overhead transmission line double circuit,vertical configuration, latticed steel towers, approximately 37.42 kilometres long (Shuqaiq-Khamis Mushayt) and 37.11 kilometres long (Abha East-Khamis Mushayt), using four (4)X1080.6 KCMIL ACAR conductor per phase.
The above overhead transmission line will establish the following 380kV circuit connections:
a. Shuqaiq 2 380kV BSP to Khamis Mushayt 380kV BSP circuits 1 and 2.
b. Abha East 380kV BSP to Khamis Mushayt 380kV BSP circuits 1 and 2.
The Project has been floated by Ministry of Housing and supervised by Saudi Electricity Company.
