Saudi based Al Gihaz Holding Company has submitted the lowest bid for the 380kV reactors project in central region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A total of four (4) bidders has submitted the proposal.
Al Gihaz has quoted the price of SAR 21.5 million.
Project Description:
Project Scope of work includes installation of two (2) new Bus Reactors 380KV, 120 MVAR one each at BSP 9017 and BSP 9027 including protection, metering, control, communication and SCADA equipment. The monitoring Control and Protection system shall be IEC 61850 Standard based on Substation Automation System (SAS).
Project Scope of Work also includes modification of the Generation units connection arrangements at PP -12 (Power Plant no.12) and thereby to increase the reliability and security of the system.
